Shipbuilding steel is one of the most important materials used in the construction of new passenger and merchant ships, yachts, offshore facilities (such as production platforms, drilling rigs and FPSOs) as well as repairs and conversions.

The extraction of crude oil and natural gas at sea involves a high level of technical effort, as the deposits are located in regions that are difficult to access.

The steels used must be suitable for low temperatures and be characterized by high toughness values.

• Plates in shipbuilding steels 3.2 certified by all common inspection organizations
• Bead flat steel
• Offshore steels in accordance with EN 10225 and Norsok MDS-120 with grades 12, 13 and 18
• Production of blanks to tight tolerances, such as so-called “racks” or racks for the feet of jack-up rigs.
