The importance of generating electricity from wind energy using wind turbines has grown in recent years due to the changing conditions of climate change, scarcity of raw materials and a greater sense of responsibility towards the environment. A distinction is made between the use of wind energy on land – onshore – and at sea – offshore.

UnionStahl Nord manufactures and supplies parts that are used in various areas of the wind turbine, i.e. in the nacelle, in rotor construction and in the foundation structure.

We have responded to the growing needs with a broad and deep range of plates in accordance with EN 10225 and NORSOK.

Thanks to our high level of expertise and extensive processing options, we are able to offer complete solutions in addition to sheet metal and flame-cut parts. We supply welded assemblies for immediate assembly, thus reducing production times for our customers.
